Sweden will be participating in two international tournaments in 2009. For the first time in Swedish cricket history, the SCF appointed a Selection Committee for Sweden at the AGM on 23rd November 2008.

Royal Nordic Cup
SCF has entered Sweden for the Royal Nordic Cup, which will be held on 11th and 12th July 2009 at Svanholm Cricket Ground, Denmark. This will be a Twenty-20 competition with teams representing Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

ICC European division 5
Sweden will also play in the ICC European division 5 tournament to be held in Corfu, Greece, from 7th to 12th September 2009. We will be competing against Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece and Turkey for advancement into division 4.
